We have no tolerance for foul language in text chat on our server.
“But there is swearing in the game” is no excuse.

Even though you may have been warned for using foul language in text chat, we may still ban you after perusing the server chat logs the next morning.

Bans are usually for 1 day, however we sometimes issue 1 week bans for more grievous offenses, depending on the admin.

If your soldier name is offensive, you will be permanently banned from playing on our server. We don’t care if it’s obscure. If it LOOKS like a swear word, or sounds like one, you will be banned. Also note that having an offensive name or clan tag is against the EA Terms of Service – you would do well to request a name change rather than losing your account for breaking the TOS.

Note that even using abbreviations, acronyms or obscuring the swear word (such as using numbers for letters) will earn you a ban.

You are more than welcome to come to our forums and PM one of the admins there, or send an email to bans@wargeeks.org.

If you come to our forums or email us threats or demands etc, we will most likely ignore you and/or make your ban permanent. Be polite, and we will be polite in turn.

Thursdays are our clan MUSTER day!

MUSTER is a concerted effort by all of our Battlefield playing members to get together and play on a single night. We will completely commandeer the server, change the game mode to our current whim, and may even implement game rules for certain rounds (such as sniper only, or whatever may strike our fancy at the time).

There is a very strong possibility that non-clan members will be kicked in favour of a clan member, particularly for game modes that require smaller numbers of players (such as Squad Death Match). This includes non-clan members who are friendly with clan members that we wouldn’t normally kick. It’s nothing personal. You’re more than welcome if there’s space, or definitely on any day that is not Thursday.

You’re irate. You have just been kicked off our server by some ‘tard admin, and you DEMAND to know why! Deeeee Mand!

Well, unfortunately our admin tools are a bit limited at the moment. Although we do specify a kick message, for whatever reason, that message doesn’t get through to the clients, so all you see is ‘You have been kicked by an admin’. Yaaay. Hopefully this annoyance will be fixed at some time, and you will see what you have done to earn the ire of an admin.

However, in the mean time, some of the common reasons for being kicked are detailed below. This is by no means exhaustive. It depends entirely on what is going on at the time.

The most common reason is that we are making room for one of our members.
Unfortunately the ‘Reserved Slots’ feature is not working, so we have to manually kick people off to make some space.  We’re sorry about it, but we are paying for the server, after all, so we get to choose who can play on it. You are welcome to come back when there are slots available.

Swearing in text chat. We will usually warn you in text chat, but if you continue, we will kick you. Depending on the admin, and depending on how much of a douchebag you were, you may get a temporary ban as well.

If your soldier name is offensive to an admin, you will get a permaban.  I don’t care if it’s obscure. If it’s offensive to anybody, you won’t play on our server.

Our philosophy is simple: Be fair, and have fun. Interpreting that philosophy is entirely up to us. What you think is fair and fun is not necessarily what we think it is. If you don’t agree, then by all means, find another server to play on.
